Organize receipts, return dates and warranty records

Valukee ·

A purchase record is most useful when it tells you what was bought, where the evidence is and which action comes next. Start with the information on your receipt and the policy that applies to that purchase.

Create one clear purchase record

Record the item, retailer, purchase date, paid amount and order reference. Add a serial number when it helps identify the exact item. Give the receipt or supporting file a name that includes the purchase reference, then store it in Documents. Consistent names make later searches and exports easier.

Enter the dates that actually apply

Use the return deadline and warranty end shown in the applicable policy or documentation. These are separate fields because they represent different processes. Do not infer a universal deadline from another retailer or country. Add a follow-up reminder for an open case, and update it after a reply or a completed action.

Keep evidence and status together

When you request a return, link its reference to the purchase record and keep the correspondence. Move the case through its actual stages instead of marking it complete when the request is first sent. Valukee organizes the dates and evidence you enter; it does not determine legal entitlement or submit a retailer claim automatically.
